Manchmal können Probleme mit Plesk oder einem der Plesk Dienste auftreten, zum Beispiel mit E-Mails oder dem DNS. Beispiel:

• E-Mails werden nicht gesendet oder kommen nicht an.
• Website lässt sich nicht öffnen.
• Fehlermeldungen werden in Plesk angezeigt.
• Probleme mit dem Dateisystem.

Darum gibt es in Plesk ein leistungsstarkes Tool zur Selbstreparatur: das CLI-Dienstprogramm plesk repair. Sie können Probleme jetzt noch einfacher beheben, wenn Sie die Repair Kit-Erweiterung installieren. Es ist nun eine Benutzeroberfläche für das Dienstprogramm verfügbar. Gehen Sie dazu zu Tools & Einstellungen > Diagnose und Reparatur (unter "Unterstützung und Fehlerbehebung"). Hier haben Sie folgende Möglichkeiten:

• Probleme mit Plesk und Plesk Diensten können automatisch überprüft und behoben werden. Sie können dies allgemein für alle Plesk Dienste oder nur für einzelne erledigen.
• Das Dienstprogramm plesk repair kann mit den gewünschten Befehlen und Optionen manuell ausgeführt werden.

Es gibt jedoch noch viele weitere Funktionen in dieser Erweiterung. In Repair Kit lässt sich auch eine Liste der Serverprozesse aufrufen. So können Sie die Prozesse erkennen, die am meisten Ressourcen verbrauchen. Rufen Sie die Prozesse auf, indem Sie zu Tools & Einstellungen > Prozessliste (unter "Unterstützung und Fehlerbehebung") gehen. Hier haben Sie folgende Möglichkeiten:

• Alle Serverprozesse aufrufen: Sie können alle Prozesse aufrufen oder nur die, die mit Domains verknüpft sind bzw.
• RAM- und CPU-Auslastung insgesamt aller Serverprozesse oder einzelner Prozesse aufrufen.
• Prozesse beenden.

Mit Repair Kit können Sie die Liste der Prozesse abrufen, die derzeit durch den lokalen MySQL-Server verarbeitet werden. Gehen Sie dazu zu Tools & Einstellungen> Liste der Datenbankprozesse (unter "Unterstützung und Fehlerbehebung"). Klicken Sie auf einen MySQL-Prozess, um die Details anzuzeigen. Sie sehen dann, welche Abfragen verarbeitet wurden und wie viele Ressourcen dadurch verbraucht wurden.
